How to Manage Brands and Coloring in Your swivl Account

Personalizing your swivl experience is easy with our branding and color customization tools. Follow the steps below to update your organization’s look and feel.

When you first onboard with swivl, our team creates one default brand for your account — including your logo, brand name, and primary colors. But as your organization grows or changes, you might want to update or add new brands.

Here are a few common reasons why you’d want to manage your brands:

  • Rebranding: Your organization has updated its logo or color palette.

  • Multiple Locations or Brands: You want separate branding for different properties, teams, or departments.

  • Special Campaigns: You’re running a seasonal promotion or campaign that needs its own look and feel.

No matter the use case, the Brands settings let you easily update or expand your visual identity within swivl.

🔹 Step 1: Access Brands Settings

  1. Log into your swivl Dashboard.

  2. Click the icon at the bottom-left corner of the screen, then select Property Manager from the menu.

3. From the Organization select Brands.

Step 2: Adding and Updating a Brand

Under the Brands section, you can add and update:

  • Logo: To upload your logo, hover over the current logo icon and click “Click to Change.” Then, select and upload your organization or brand's logo (JPG, PNG, SVG). Recommended size: 300x300px

  • Brand Name: Enter the name of your organization or brand as you'd like it displayed throughout the platform.

  • Spot URL: Create a custom identifier that becomes part of your Spot URL (e.g.,  (https://my.spot.is/hoover-properties). This is the destination users are redirected to when they scan your QR code or click your Short Link.
  • Short Link: This is a short, branded version of your Spot URL — typically an abbreviation or nickname for your brand.
  • Primary Brand Color:  This is the main color that will appear throughout your portal. To update it, click the colored circle next to the field, then enter your brand’s hex code (e.g., #FF5C02) or choose a color from the palette.

  • Secondary/Accent Color: Optional — used for highlights and buttons.

💡 Tip: Use your official brand colors for a consistent experience across your tools.

Step 3: Assign a Theme to Your Chatbot

Once you've created a brand, go to your Chatbot settings and apply the color theme to complete the setup.

🛠️ Troubleshooting

  • Logo not uploading? Make sure it’s under 2MB and a supported format (PNG, JPG, SVG).

  • Color not displaying correctly? Try refreshing your browser or clearing cache.
