Customer Profile

Control when and how much customer information you collect

 The Customer Profile worksheet allows you to control when you collect a profile, and how much of the user’s information is required. There are 6 fields within each section, broken down below:

Collect Profile

Turn this on if you’d like to collect a customer profile at this point in their journey

Message

This will be sent right before we ask for information

Collection Method

Info Collect Card

Select this option if you’d like the user to presented with a card/form so that they can fill out all of their information at once:

Conversational

Select this option if you’d like the user to be asked for their information conversationally in the chat:

Preferred Contact Method

This section won’t apply if you use Sitelink or StorEdge as your FMS. Sitelink requires an email to send a lead in, so we’ll collect name and email. StorEdge requires a phone number to send a lead in, so we’ll collect name and phone.
For all other FMSes: if you’re collecting a short profile, we’ll collect name and whatever’s selected here

Short Profile

Turn this toggle on if you want to collect a short profile, i.e. name and email or name and phone instead of all 3 (name, email, and phone)

Make Secondary Contact Method Optional

This toggle only applies when using an info collect card. Flip it on if you’d like to make the secondary contact method optional, not required:

Confirm Profile

Turn this toggle on if you’d like the user to confirm that we have the correct information before moving on. If they say no, their profile will be cleared and we will ask for their information again
