Turn on Push Notifications in swivlStudio

Never miss a notification when you turn on browser based push notifications.

The advantage of using browser push notifications is that whenever an escalation is assigned to you, whether you're active in the Conversations tab or you have it minimized, you'll still know when someone needs your attention. 

For best performance, we recommend using the Google Chrome browser.


Step 1: Open Account Settings

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of swivl.
  2. Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Go to Notifications

Inside Account Settings:

  1. Select the Notifications tab.
  2. You’ll see notification preferences for different event types.

Step 3: Configure Notification Preferences

Under Preferences, choose how you’d like to receive notifications for:

  • Contact Center / Escalations
  • Tickets

Available notification channels:

  • Push Notifications
  • Email
  • SMS

Toggle ON the notification methods you’d like to receive.

Optional: Add Notification Recipients

You can also add:

  • An email address for email notifications
  • A phone number for SMS notifications

 

Important Notes

  • Your browser may ask for permission to allow push notifications. Make sure to click Allow.

  • If notifications are not appearing, check your browser notification settings and ensure notifications are enabled for swivl.
