spot.is Payments* give your tenants a fast, secure way to pay their bill through a simple, branded web page - no portal login, no password resets, no friction!

Instead of forcing tenants to remember usernames or navigate a full tenant portal, swivl sends them straight to a one-click payment experience that works beautifully in web chat, SMS, and voice interactions. 

This means fewer abandoned payments, fewer support calls, and more rent collected on time.

How It Works

When attempting to make a payment, a tenant is typically directed to a website login page, which can be a hassle if they don't know username or password. spot.is payment pages allow them to authenticate the phone number attached to their lease, after which they'll be sent a link where they can enter their card info to pay. This process also works for those with multiple leases, allowing the tenant to choose which one they'd like to make a payment toward.

Turning on spot.is Payments for your Tenants

Inbound Requests

  1. Navigate to Property Manager → Cortex → Pay Bill (Note that you'll see two worksheets - Account Management → Pay Bill controls the experience through web chat, and Voice → Pay Bill controls the experience if you have our Voice agent set up (visible to Disruptor tier only)
     
  2. Toggle "on"  the "Use spot Payment Pages" feature.

  3. Adjust the messaging as you see fit. User:ShortURL is the spot.is payment link that will be sent: 

 

Outbound Requests

  1. Navigate to Property Manager → Cortex → Sequences → Past Due Payments. Here you can update SMS, Email, and Voice (Disruptor tier only)

  2. Toggle "on"  the "Use spot Payment Pages" feature.

  3. Adjust the messaging as you see fit. User:ShortURL is the spot.is payment link that will be sent:

What Tenants See

  • Branding: Your location name, contact details, and hours are clearly displayed from the Details section of Property Manager (colors too from the Brands section).
  • Confirmation: A clean, simple confirmation once the payment is processed.

  • No Login Required: Just click, pay, and go.
