If you’d like to port your phone number away from swivl (powered by Twilio), the process must be initiated through your new carrier. Here’s what you need to know:
Steps to Port Your Number
- Contact your new carrier and request to port the number.
- Most carriers will require a Letter of Authorization (LOA). This typically includes:
- The end user’s full name
- The Twilio Account SID
- The service address for the number
- To obtain the required service address or account information, email support@tryswivl.com and include the phone number(s) you’re requesting to port.
Important Notes
-
Portability varies by country, and not all numbers may be eligible.
-
Once your new carrier contacts Twilio, you’ll receive a notification email confirming the port request has been received.
