Porting Your Phone Number Away from swivl

If you’d like to port your phone number away from swivl (powered by Twilio), the process must be initiated through your new carrier. Here’s what you need to know:

Steps to Port Your Number

  1. Contact your new carrier and request to port the number.
  2. Most carriers will require a Letter of Authorization (LOA). This typically includes:
    1. The end user’s full name
    2. The Twilio Account SID
    3. The service address for the number
  3. To obtain the required service address or account information, email support@tryswivl.com and include the phone number(s) you’re requesting to port.

Important Notes

  • Portability varies by country, and not all numbers may be eligible.

  • Once your new carrier contacts Twilio, you’ll receive a notification email confirming the port request has been received.
