How Inheritance Works

How your Organizational settings cascade through Groups and Locations

Settings and information flow from top to bottom:

Organization → Group → Location

This means that any settings made at the Organization level apply to all Groups and Locations. Group-level settings override Organization settings for the Locations in that Group. Finally, Location-specific settings take precedence for that individual property.

By structuring your Organization this way, you can manage global settings while still allowing flexibility for Groups and individual Locations.
